Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. Overview
Riderduck ("we", "our", "the service") is a workspace for preparing technical riders for live production. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, username, email address, phone number and password hash you provide at signup, or profile data shared by Google when you use Google sign-in.
- Project content: rider data you create — project names, artist names, stage plots, input lists, backline, monitoring preferences, attachments, logos.
- Usage data: technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, error traces) needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use your data
We use your data only to provide, secure and improve the service: authenticating you, storing your projects, sending account emails (verification, password reset), and diagnosing errors. We do not sell your data and we do not use your project content to train third-party AI models.
4. Where data is stored
Account and project data are stored in our managed cloud backend. Files you upload (such as logos) are stored in encrypted object storage. Access is restricted to your account through row-level security policies.
5. Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers strictly needed to run the service (hosting, database, email delivery, OAuth providers you explicitly use). We never share your project content with third parties for marketing.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of every rider you generate with Riderduck. Riderduck is a tool that helps you organize and present technical information; it does not validate that your inputs, stage plots, audio settings, electrical requirements or backline are correct, safe or production-ready.
Before sending any rider to a venue, promoter, artist or production partner, you must review the final document end-to-end and confirm every detail is accurate. The responsibility for the content lies entirely with you.
7. Your rights
You can update or delete your account and project data at any time from the app. For data access, export or deletion requests beyond the in-app controls, contact us via the address listed below.
8. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your projects and personal data are removed from our active systems; backups are rotated out within a reasonable period.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences (language, theme). No third-party advertising cookies are used.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
